Encompassing lush and poetic elements, evocative prose uses vivid imagery, rich sensory details, and artful language to create an immersive and vivid experience for the reader1.
Evocative prose paints a picture. I don't want to paint a picture. I'd much rather the players did.
While I want my narration to be accessible, I think I lean on the minimalist prose style. As a rule of thumb, I avoid subjective interpretation when narrating.
